Training Concept
The
Lost Forest.
Evolution of Mangroves Wetlands in Australia and how Australia has
changed over the past 70 million years.
Cape
York has more than 67 species, the largest number of species of
Mangrove plant species in Australia... if not the world. These tropical
forests are a buffer zone between land and sea.
Their
existence protects the survival of many plants and animals in the
worlds land and sea food-chains.
This film "The Lost Forest" is based on scientific
research and will show that there need be no conflict between Mangroves
Wetlands and Development, because we can have both. From Cooktown,
Cape York, this film would be a snapshot of it's time captured in
a series of unique frames.

Web
Training Project -
From digitised vetor dots, over byte-maps and text, to spelling
and desktop publishing. Now its time to pick up the graphic world
through telecommunications and the new forms of model media.
I have spoken to the Federal Government previously about this project
and I know we will be well supported given how the new ALP government
polices compare with the states, and is a blueprint for the bush,
to build a community wide communications hub.
This
I hope will partner the site presently run by Cook Shire Council.
As a community driven site it will also be used to monitor ourselves
in project development.
We
will have the opportunity to learn what we all do throughout the
Cape and, connect our communities interests together through a series
of web clusters.

Educational
Cultural Dance and
Performance Troop
aimed at schools, national and overseas.
As a community member, I bring a wealth of experience in the production
process.
On a previous project, I produced a film in Central NSW. The film
was called "Starting from Now" and sits today in the Justice
Library of the NSW Justice Department. It involved more than 200
local schools across NSW. As well the project attracted much attention
from the NSW Police Royal Commission.
The
Justice Commission used it for evidence and the department also
used a crash edited version as a Training VHS for Police training
document in NSW, which the Justice Commission distributed.
Turn
the Lens Back Onto Community. Our Cooktown - Cape York's inter-regional
community would benefit from this model of community engagement.
Educational
Cultural Dance and
Performance Troop
aimed at schools and is a economic cultural enterprise
Training option for micro development.
It is a wonderful model for social inter-activities and authentic
learning.

Exploring
Our Local Knowledge
A
No Wrong Door policy is about access to consumer services.
A
No Wrong Door policy is about integration, so consumers are not
locked out in response to red tape.
A
No wrong Door policy is inclusive, it requires a innovative mindset
, and a local practical committment to consumer based service delivery,
through the eyes of the people who use it.

Snapshot
of the Let's Identify ID Boom Approach
The
Let's Identify ID Boom Approach is a tool I researched and
developed a number of years ago.
Since
then I have developed a Crime Prevention Strategy and a number
of other economic driven enterprise models that fit together as
a inclusive, integrated
community plan for development.
Please
take the time to consider the contents in the graphical model.
It
represents a set of questions and is something that we can think
about at a local level.
