Climate Change Talks in Poland. He hopes the Australian
Government will set a leading pace. He said the world is looking
for Australia's leadership and explains some of the issues
among the many countries attending. He told us also that China
is looking more positively towards to policies required seeing

Steven
Longs report with Mr Harperalongside others puts
absolute sense into how financial markets work or don't work
as the case may be. The report summarises some well known
economic theories and reflects how they have failed... actually,
in reality. Mr Harper calls for a rethink, a 'whole' investigation
into the mechanisms that drive the Australian economy. A sobering
must hear business economic report. 9/12/08
Afghanistan:
Focus shift: The prime minister Gordon Brown has
ordered a review of the entire Afghan policy. The so called
"inkspot" strategy, creating secure zones to allow the rebuilding
of infrastructure and basic services, has achieved some success.
--- But the number and sophistication of the attacks by insurgents
are growing. Mr Brown wants to shift the focus of the British
mission to tackle directly what he calls the "chain of terror"
which begins across the border in Pakistan. He wants to change
the "coverage" of troops on the ground. Such a move though
would almost certainly put more British soldiers at greater
risk of attack.
In-depth
interview on the Security
issues in Afghanistan with Former Deputy of Afghanistan.
Report discussed what has to happen, the different strategies,
and the way the US and foreign forces ought to be used in
the country. This is an important report as it analyses the
vast information that is surrounding the subject on the eve
of Obama taking office and in the background of the International
Council on Security and Development (ICOS) report aired earlier
on World
Today
and where National Security was discussed by Australian experts
on Australia
Talks
earlier this evening. 9/12/08
Afghanistan:
Nato is playing down the seriousness of a report published
by the International Council on Security and Development (ICOS).
The report reflects the increasing danger to civilian's, particularly
the outside parameters of some of the major cities and
claim that the Taliban holds as much as 72% "permanent presence".

podcast and transcripts on World Today which interviews
a number of people involved with the report.

Statistic
for ABS
figures underestimate true figure of unemployment according
to the Morgon Research Survey. Depending in how you read the
unemployment figures you find they show 13%for those experiencing
underemployed, 6 1/2 % if you don't include the underemployed
statisitcs but instead a reading of other "invisibles",
and rising around 4% if you consider the present formal figurers
put out by the ABS. There was a claim that there appeared
to be "No political will to report the true figures...
". Hear the interview from Mr Gary Morgan and claims
that business has been shedding jobs since last year. This
is a interesting report by ABC Richard Lindell. 9/12/08

NOW
MOMENTS: With Evirionmental Migration coming at
us as a world as fast as anything we know of the birth and

[less

to understand that much aggression and violence we see in
the world is because we fail as governments and citizens in
mainstream to stand up to soft and illegal practices and injustice;
be it now or in the past. ie: While my brother or sisters

The
Iranian press reports that it is 'Iran is prepared to
dispatch humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip in a bid to
help improve the deteriorating living conditions in
the costal sliver.'
This
is after months and years of violence and citizen oppression.
As the report affirms all recent reports reveal that
80 percent of the families living in the strip are fully
dependent on food supplies from aid agencies. The number
of children suffering from malnutrition, diarrhea, insomnia
and anxiety attacks has increased to 40 percent under
the current siege.
"The

in its latest report that it has "been able to continue
to verify the non-diversion of declared nuclear material
in Iran."
A big report on Gaza:Violence
has flared up again around Gaza as UN food handouts to
the Hamas - ruled strip came to a halt and after the
sole power station shut down as Israel tightened its fuel
blockade.

Colm McNaughton is a thirty-something Irish Australian,
who spent some of his childhood in a Catholic
family in Northern Ireland. He returns at the
height of the highly charged 'marching season'
to find out how realistic the peace and reconciliation
movement is. He meets and records some heavy characters
from both sides of the sectarian divide and confronts
the way violence brought trauma into his own life.
A tough story which has room for just enough optimism

the 'Irish Question'. Sound engineer: Russell

WHERE ARE YOU?
Who
controls what information and when is public policy subjected
to the railing impact of money. The media report is to itself...
the most important show ABC. In fact it is why as a Cape Yorker
www.miacat.cat.com exists. With a shrinking community, no
local legal services, no media room on the ground to scrutinise
the developments of local governance or journalism or to promote
reason to protect reason for more knowldge... ... it is the
media report that has more than any other, done something
to try to disseminate the need of citizens to engage with
the media and in the greater picture... current ... to 'get
involved' or find a way to participation in the code of journalism.

photo appearing above are ones I thread from a
sequence in the Film above of Julie Andrew's role
in the film holding her bags 'wondering' [problem

side the text of the maintains and their meaning
to all Austrians, which we share with the rest
of the world.

"When
I attempt to find a simple formula for the period
in which I grew up, prior to the First World War,
I hope that I convey its fullness by calling it

Unfinished
business. As asleep as the ages, unclean as the
first sin defined over a politico, lost for meaningfulness
a birth forgotten as when the sun shone over us
upon the first day. Growth is at stake less the
'dove was mistaken'. Elisabeth Altmann and Stefan
Zweig gave heart to mind and we beget the symbolic
ironic fact clueless of all meaning, life's gift,
and thy magic Kraft. The loss we own, of it is All
at the core, it is a center now at the stake. Why
is this an issue?

On waking from my dreams I thought about you again
Because in the moment that I slept Vidalitay, I

No

Anyone
who believes that we who are here instead of there by
choice has not an idea of history, nor why we are feeling
the discontent that we feel, as the world fails to learn
the depth and meaning of loss.... through the devastation
of war. All I know is that memory is lost through generations
unless parents, families and communities themselves
become more attentive, unless governments become attentive...Be
it Austrian and European families, Iraq, Afghanistan,
Africa or all peoples displaced, families dislocated
by these wars... injustice,
including the generations of Indigenous Australia...
it is the disconnection of whole civilisations that
is most disturbing when we fail to see what it takes
for those left.... to rebuild.....
