TheMiacat is engaged with an Urban Colours (Gambia) sustainable development housing project in West Africa. It involves helping to fundraise to assist struggling youth in The Gambia. Last year we raised enough to built the boundary fence, and we planted a huge Food Garden. This year the 2020 vision is to build a House. To do that we need to raise $7,000 on top of what we raised during 2019. It is a great challenge for us. Our Youtube video's can be found here.

Additionally, miacat.com supports an Outlook Farm project that is specifically aimed at developing skills and creating jobs in The Gambia. The Outlook Farm objective is to feed poor families. This project has already some 30,000 meals, and built a house for their new centre in the past three years. You can see of the vision set by Outlook Farm if you click here.
Why Support Youth in Africa: We see the flow of youth struggling to leave Africa. We understand the merit of a bottom-line startegy suggested by the UNCTAD. It looks for economic change, a "Migration for Structural Transformation", it is a solution to help de-escalate the need for economic struggles among Africa's youth. It is a strategy that makes political and economic sense. Youth are largely unemployed everywhere, and most are completely poverty striken in places like... the new Gambia.
